Hang on, what's an agent?

THE AGENT SAYS:

“I'm not a chatbot. A chatbot answers questions. I do work: I read the email, work out what it's about, pull the right documents, write the draft and put it in front of you to approve.”

“I work inside your tools, not next to them. What goes out is still your call.”

How an agent workflow runs

A workflow is a chain of steps an agent works through on its own. At the points that matter, you decide.

  1. Trigger

An email, a form, a new receipt in a folder, or simply 8 am.

  2. Understand

The agent reads along and spots the request, the customer and the urgency.

  3. Look up

It fetches what it needs: prices, templates, past jobs, your own documents.

  4. Do

It writes the draft, fills in the form, files it.

  5. ApprovalYOU

Anything that goes out or costs money comes to you first. One click and it is sent.

  6. Log

Every step is written down. You can always see what the agent did and why.

Under the hood

  • Questions answered from your own documents, with sources.
  • The agent may only do what you allow, tool by tool.
  • If something breaks off, the workflow resumes where it stopped.
  • On your own servers if you like.

This page itself was planned, built, tested and shipped by an agent swarm we built. We decided and reviewed.

MICHI · Michael Riesner

Michael Riesner is the person behind Pixl Works. 15 years of IT experience bring together software development, DevOps and systems architecture with AI and automation.

The perspective goes beyond code: how do the systems fit together? How does a change make it safely into production? And which work actually benefits from automation?

A single application, an established IT landscape or a new idea: we start where you are. AI is a tool, not an end in itself.

Away from the technical work, games and tabletop RPGs are part of the picture. That is why this place looks like an adventure. The work behind it stays practical.
